school square
the realignment of the school street creates a new entrance square, the new school square, which enables access to the various uses such as cultural center, elementary school, secondary school, and music school without having to cross roads. the new bus stop is also located directly on this square along the main road, ensuring safe boarding and disembarking for students and visitors.

cultural center with cultural arena
towards the southwest, this entrance square transitions into a gently sloping surface leading to the entrance of the new cultural center. a generous, slightly inclined cultural arena is created – an ideal place for concerts or other outdoor events – which surrounds the entire foyer and event area, and serves both as an entrance forecourt as well as terrace and break area for the cultural center. entrance and foyer areas of the cultural center are located on a gallery level around the two gymnasiums. directly accessible from the foyer area, mobile grandstands on the long and short sides of the adapted multipurpose room serve events, ensure optimal visibility, and connect the different levels.

music school
embedded in the artificial terrain of the cultural arena, slightly recessed into the ground, is the music school. separated from the school to avoid mutual disturbance, with a short connection to the halls (for dual use). a small, dedicated music courtyard provides the opportunity for outdoor music-making. angled walls in the practice rooms ensure acoustics appropriate for a music school.
gymnasium area
to ensure a spacious connection between the foyer and the multipurpose level, the size of the multipurpose hall was reduced to standard gymnasium size; however, there is the option to connect both gymnasiums to create one large continuous space. for example, the mobile stage could be set up in the elementary school gymnasium, and a mobile grandstand placed opposite at the foyer level. all changing rooms and sanitary facilities are flanked by dirty and clean corridors, ensuring that every changing room has access to both gymnasiums. the old and new equipment rooms are connected and flank the halls, allowing every piece of equipment to reach either gym directly. for extracurricular use, access is possible via the foyer or directly at gym and changing room level; an additional exit in the southeast leads to the outdoor sports area.

location of functional areas
all areas have separate entrances, the entrances to the elementary and secondary school remain unchanged. the cultural center receives a generous and attractive forecourt via the sloping cultural arena, clearly visible from the main road. the music school is accessed via a gentle ramp from the forecourt and is connected to the school through the gymnasium area.
